Infertility is a concerning global health issue that affects one in six couples of reproductive age worldwide. Management of infertility is made possible by the interplay between reproductive gynaecologists, andrologists and embryologists, who, ideally, should work together as a team, since optimal patient care is accomplished through the work of a cohesive IVF team. The present meeting, which follows the one held in Lugano in 2022, is intended to offer some hot topics to the attention of such experts gathered together. The attendants won’t be, therefore, surprised to find gynaecological, andrological and embryological topics mixed in the same scientific session, in an apparently illogical sequence: it’s all deliberate to foster a fruitful interaction between healthcare providers who come from different training programs, but who share the same goal: helping infertile couples to have children.
